Relocating to a New Area

There are so many exciting, yet unsettling  feelings involved in moving to a new area.  Here is some helpful information that can help you learn about the area you will be relocating to.

Moving to Maryland Suburbs of Washington DC:

If you are moving to the Washington DC area or Maryland suburbs it is helpful to know a Realtor that can not only help you navigate through the buying process, but also work with you to understand the area, culture, ideal locations, etc.  You will also need someone who is experienced in working with Realtors on the other side of the transaction if you are selling your home outside of the area for a smooth transition.  Reseach an city/town or zipcode

    Only a few short years ago, even Real Estate Agents did not know what a short sale was!  My, how things have changed... 

    Banks have estimated that the majority of short sales will have been processed by 2014.  More than 1 in 4 of all homes are now backed my mortgages that are worth more than the collateral that secures them: the homes themselves!
